Hi!

It would be great if you could zoom in and out of the image preview using the mouse wheel. Right now, the image only scrolls up and down.
I know that you have to hold down the Ctrl key to zoom. But with scroll-zoom, you could do everything with one hand. :-)

And it would be even better if you could add more buttons for the face recognition functions to the main preview window. I personally use these all the time:
Search for faces
Delete all face markers
Mark all unconfirmed faces as ignored.

Regards
Andy

Zooming in the preview using only the wheel without Ctrl key is a duplicate of Bug 483946

@Gilles, what do you think about this change?

Hi Maik,

Good Q. It's a regular topic from users. They want this feature certainly because another private software works like this.

So, inverting mouse wheel for zoom and items navigation is a possibility, with later a feedback asking to revert. Perhaps a new option in Setup/View will be a good compromise.

Best

Yes, it's only possible optionally. Programs like Gwenview or GIMP also use the Ctrl key for zooming.

This can be adjusted in MS Photos. Either zoom or next image.
XnView also works with zoom via the mouse wheel.
