Hi,

I have found an issue with the calculator widget when it is placed on the desktop. when the AC button is pressed the buttons move. there is no such effect on any other button.

i have not tried this before this version of kde. sorry, only getting into this system

i am somewhat new or at least inexperienced with linux and bug reports

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Put calculator widget on the desktop and press AC button

I can't seem to reproduce this.

Could I ask you to try it on a new user account with no other modifications (only adding the widget), so we can see whether there's any style, theme, or user-level configuration that may be involved?

Hi, sorry for the wait.
a new account does not do this. must be a theming thing
is there a simple way to reset all theming but nothing else? (like settings and panels etc)

No all independently, but unless you did some under-the-hood tweaks, the reset buttons in the themes section of System Settings should do it. I'd recommend trying the Plasma style first, that's the most likely culprit.

Seems it is the CachyOS Nord global theme. I actually forgot that i had changed to that. as it was mostly overwritten by smaller ones in the fastfetch
