Description Flupp 2025-11-01 17:35:29 UTC
Since the update to Plasma 6.5 (maybe coincidentally with a Konsole update at the same time), I noticed that Ctrl+MouseScroll does not always zoom the terminal.

It seems, after using the scroll wheel without pressing Ctrl (i.e., for scrolling the terminal – even if there is nothing to scroll), Ctrl+MouseScroll does not zoom any more, but scrolls fast instead (i.e., faster than scrolling without pressing Ctrl).

The Ctrl+MouseScroll zoom functionality can be restored by clicking somewhere outside of the terminal (e.g., on the tab or the title bar, or by opening and closing the context menu). Zooming works again until scrolling without Ctrl again. Switching between these two Ctrl+MouseScroll behaviors can be done arbitrarily often.

EXPECTED RESULT

Ctrl+MouseScroll always zooms.
