Hi Maggiora,

Thanks for the bug report. My guess is that you are using some sort of sandboxing environment like flatpak that is managing file access. Is this correct?

This would explain when you select "/media/pippo/DatiSSD/Astronomy/Astroimage/IC_1613" this gets mapped to "/run/user/1000/doc/e5f70dce/Light".

Can you try giving kstars access to /media in flatpak (or whatever sandbox env you are using).

If this isn't the issue can yoiu get a log with verbose FITS set and post here please.

Ok. I solved for file path give /media permission at flatpack: I suggest to write it in installation guide under Flatpack method.

add this command:
$ sudo flatpak override org.kde.kstars --filesystem=/media

But Live stacking still not working with plate solve only.
I try in a WIndows version (3.7.9), and it works.

Hi, can you explain this a bit more please...
"But Live stacking still not working with plate solve only."

So, what happens now when you hit "Start"? Also can you get a log with verbose FITS set on please.
