Normally, the user would set Do Not Disturb mode on to prevent this, however, that doesn't work On git-master, with DND on, and a full screen video playing, when I insert a USB drive: - The video stays full screen as expected - The Disks & Devices applet pops up - bug I can reproduce what Tracey can, but that's not a bug. DND mode applies only to notifications, and not this popup which comes from the System Tray itself. When you say "the player leaves the full screen mode", do you mean that the panel and widget become visible? If so, that's not actually the player leaving full screen mode. Moreover, it's not clear to me what the problem is here. If you plug in a removable disk, surely it's because you intend to interact with it in some way, no? And if that's the case, then we figure that you do want to see the popup, because it provides a quick shortcut to interacting with it, no? Can you describe the use case or surrounding circumstances that led to you plugging in a USB disk while watching a full screen video, and you didn't intend to do anything with the disk after plugging it in? Yes, the panel and widget become visible after connecting a device. Surely I will interact with the connected device, but not necessarily immediately after connecting it. I can understand if the current behavior is intentional. If this is the case, fell free to close this report. It is intentional, yeah. :) |
