SUMMARY

Unable to copy text from various apps to a virtual machine.
Some applications work, others don't.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE (KWrite)
1. Copy text in KWrite
2. Open text editor virtual machine
3. Paste

OBSERVED RESULT
(no output)

EXPECTED RESULT
Pasting the text I copied from KWrite.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux 
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0
Qt Version: 6.10.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
100% of 1st party app I've tested and some 3rd party apps are affected.

Which VM software are you using? Have you installed the guest tools packages in the guest OS?

Right now I'm using VirtualBox, I did try the guest tools package but it didn't solve the problem

Thanks. Was it working in Plasma 6.4.5 and broke in 6.5?

Yes, only after updating did it stop working.

Does the issue happen in 6.5.1? It's likely the same as bug 511063.

Erm, sorry, the fix is in 6.5.2.
