Just realised I can't add attachment to comments, bust just pasting twice "Lorem Ipsum ..." into the window of a new file with one tab indentation creates the problem. |
Created attachment 185862 [details] screenshot that causes the problem SUMMARY Selecting multi-line text (wrapped) in Kile sometimes results in highlighting with the last parts of the wrapped lines cut, i.e. not displayed. Copying/pasting works fine, so the text is not affected, just seems to be a display thing. See e.g. the shared screenshot from the editor, in the second line, ". Ut" is missing, etc. STEPS TO REPRODUCE I'll try to post minimal working example tex-file below. OBSERVED RESULT Text missing in highlighted selected text EXPECTED RESULT All selected text correctly highlighted SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250914 KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is on X11
