Thank you for the bug report! However Plasma 6.3.6 no longer receives updates or maintenance from KDE; active versions are 6.4 or newer. Please upgrade to an active version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. If you need help with Plasma 6.3.6, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing help for older releases that are no longer receiving updates from KDE. If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to an active version, feel free to re-open this bug report. Manjaro has no newer version in stable branch. Same results with 6.4.5 I do not have any "Often Used" section. I have 6.4.5 "Often used" is a section that you can enable in the settings, it replaces "Frequently used". It seems to work fine here though on Plasma 6.5. Do you have Recent Files disabled in System Settings? I'm not 100% sure, but it might not store the application launch counts if that's disabled. But there is also recent files in settings to keep history. I switch "remember opened documents" for "all applications" and often used applications works correctly now. |
Created attachment 185854 [details] "Often Used" applications section is empty Description: When using the Plasma 6 Application Dashboard, the "Often Used" applications section is empty or does not update with the applications I use often. Steps to Reproduce: Open and use several different applications multiple times (e.g., Firefox, Kate, Konsole, System Settings). Open the Application Dashboard. Observe the "Often Used" section. Expected Behavior: The "Often Used" section should be populated with a list of applications recently or frequently launched. Actual Behavior: The "Often Used" section remains empty or displays an outdated list, regardless of which applications have been used.
