Hi !

It would be very nice to have a slightly different console for the super user console tab. when I have 5 or 6 tabs, I am always struggling to find the right one. 

Yes I know I can access this easily with the menu, but it would be nice to have still.

You can set a special icon for "Root Console" sessions with Settings/Configure 
Konsole... with the editor in the "Session" tab. 
I don't think that we have appropriate icons for this in the standard icon themes.

Oops ! thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for, I should have found this
