SUMMARY
In Chinese language environment on Windows 10, after installing Kdenlive, the Settings and some pop-up panels incorrectly display in English. This is due to the program erroneously using English as the fallback language, even though proper Chinese translations exist. The issue can be resolved by manually removing the fallback language in the language settings, indicating that the fallback is unnecessary but incorrectly invoked.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Kdenlive on a Windows 10 Version 22H2 (x86_64) system with Chinese as the default language.
2. Launch Kdenlive.
3. Navigate to the Settings menu and trigger some pop-up panels (e.g., preferences, Add Title Clip).

OBSERVED RESULT
The text in Settings and certain pop-up panels is displayed in English instead of Chinese. Checking the language settings reveals that English is being used as the fallback language despite the presence of Chinese translations.

EXPECTED RESULT
Settings and all pop-up panels should display in Chinese by default, utilizing the existing Chinese translations without relying on the English fallback language.
