I can't reproduce this. I also could not delete the .desktop file with Dolphin, so i used rm command inside terminal instead. Operating System: Fedora Linux 42 KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0 Qt Version: 6.9.2 Kernel Version: 6.16.8-200.fc42.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.5 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6600 I made a lot of vaults while trying to reproduce another bug. This is starting to get really annoying and weird now. The mounting and data folders of deleted vaults keep popping up and littering my filesystem every time I restart my device. Some of my vaults will not be deleted, no matter what I do. I may have done something to cause this, but I am not entirely sure what. Created attachment 185261 [details]
Video attempting to delete vault
As you can see in this screencast, the vault refuses to get deleted, it persists for some reason.
In that screen recording, you're not deleting the vault. I assume you're pressing the Enter key, which is actually closing the dialog by triggering the OK button. You need to click the "Delete this vault" button to delete the vault. Regarding the original issue, can you clarify what you mean by "Delete the .directory default file in the mount point"? On my system I don't see any .directory files in ~/Vaults/[mountpoints for my vaults]. (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #4) > In that screen recording, you're not deleting the vault. On my system I don't see any > .directory files in ~/Vaults/[mountpoints for my vaults]. That makes sense. The .directory file shows up when the vault is mounted and is used to set the icon. Marking this as Not a Bug. Sorry for the noise. |
