SUMMARY
After an update, randomly when login on either Wayland or x11, after a few seconds, system becomes extremely laggy for a very long moment.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login with user.
2. Lag

OBSERVED RESULT
Extreme lag on either graphical or tty terminal.

EXPECTED RESULT
System going smooth

Masking makes system go smooth again, unmasking makes it lag.

What version of ddcutil do you have? If it's not 2.2.1 or later, this is probably Bug 500843.

This looks like bug 507456, please follow that report for updates. This is likely a bug in ddctutils.
