mouseover on 'links graphic' (downloads, product info, inspiration, etc...) blanks out rest of page, and invisible portions of page can only be made visible by reloading.

This sounds like exactly the same thing as I reported, but I posted a url in it too.

Bug 49942 seems to be fixed in CVS HEAD as of at least December 22 - reopening 
this bug as its own problem (possibly a duplicate of 51013)

seems to be fixed ;-) (at least CVS HEAD 6/17... probably much earlier)
