Description b2 2025-09-15 23:16:22 UTC
SUMMARY
Empty trash button breaks context menu display on split view tab. A minor issue, perhaps w/ the button itself.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Trash in one tab.
2. Open a split view in another tab of 2 directories.
3. Crate a file in one directory in the above tab.
4. Move it to the trash.
5. Use Empty Trash button on the toolbar (all other method of emptying trash I've tried don't cause the issue).
6. Go back to the split view tab.
7. Try to open the context menu (either my mouse or keyboard)--it will not appear.
8. Go to a different tab, or a different window, just make that tab lose focus.
9. Try bringing the context menu again on the split view tab, it will now work normally.

OBSERVED RESULT
Context menu is not displayed on split view tabs.

EXPECTED RESULT
Context menu displayed normally.

Everything also gets back to normal when pressing tab, which moves focus to the first tab (the one on the left)--when on #6 from my initial post, you can see that neither tab is focused.

I say "you can see" but maybe you don't. Since nobody commented here for 2 months, it might be a rare issue--specific to my system.
