Here's an encounter of the bug, apologies for the mouse not being visible but you can understand what I said happens here, this happens very rarely at start of a plasma session and you have to click at the pager block to restore the labels/via pager settings.

Created attachment 184769 [details] The issue after logging in after boot Sometimes when I boot into plasma, the pagers are blank despite Text display set to show "Desktop name", note that the panel is vertical and not sure if this is relevant somehow but I always boot into plasma via 'startplasma-wayland' command in TTY. The problem is "fixed" by either clicking on the pager or setting the option again in Text Display.
