Summary: so i am using Gnome on my fedora 48 laptop and the "Options", "Add Clip or Folder", the options menu in the timeline in the top left will show the dropdown menu once but then it never shows is again and then sometimes shows again and the cycle continues

SUMMARY
so i am using Gnome on my fedora 48 laptop and the "Options", "Add Clip or Folder", the options menu in the timeline in the top left will show the dropdown menu once but then it never shows is again and then sometimes shows again and the cycle continues

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install kdenlive flatpak on fedora workstation 42
2. open kdenlive and click on the menus mentioned above
3. click on the menus again to close
4. click it again to find the menu button is active but the menu is not

OBSERVED RESULT
the menu disappeares and will not return

EXPECTED RESULT
the menu reappears

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Fedora Linux workstation 42 gnome 48.4 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
i know its a minor issue and i can use the top menu bar but still an issue. Thankyou For Your Hardwork and dedication.

Are you using Wayland or X11?

Wayland

This is a known problem with Wayland. If possible, switch to X11, re-install Kdenlive using the Flatpak from the Kdenlive download page or from Flathub, or use the appimage.
