When running in wayland, message text content is not shown, I tried in X11 and there the content appears clear and correct

message content looks empty (in wayland) otoh print message works ok

EXPECTED RESULT
I should see my emails

Experiencing the same bug. Also on neon with the same software versions.

There has been an update to kmail since it first happened, but that did not fix the issue (currently on 4:25.08.0-0zneon+24.04+noble+release+build39).

Same problem when viewing messages via akonadiconsole.

"View Source" output looks ok.

I vote for increasing importance, as this makes kmail pretty much useless.

I just noticed, that akregator does not render web pages. Then I checked with konqueror - same thing.
So this looks like it might be related to qt6-webengine or something else involved in html rendering.

On my side, I discovered that removing the kisak mesa ppa, and using the default mesa libs results in messages are rendered ok.

For me it's ok, but why is this happening?
