Patch with fix

SUMMARY
When scheduling SER videos with the scheduler, slewing doesn't happen, the end date of the job doesn't appear and the job might not ever end.
This doesn't happen with FITS.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Schedule any SER video recording on any target in scheduler
2. Observe no end time
2. Press play, and observe no slewing and endless job

OBSERVED RESULT
Slewing doesn't happen, the end date of the job doesn't appear and job might never end.

EXPECTED RESULT
For the job to slew, capture and park as configured. Same behavior than with FITS jobs.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: All
macOS: All
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma: Raspberry Pi with StellarMate
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I fixed and verified the fix using an esl file with multiple esq's with different SER jobs definitions. No FITS logic has been altered.

Many thanks for bug report. Could you please try to reproduce the bug on the latest version 3.7.8? I tried it as you described, and at least im my setup capturing started as expected.
Comment 2 kde.bugs.ndfbr 2025-09-02 12:15:14 UTC
Hey, small correction: the bug is that, when a .ser capture is scheduled for a given target, the "slew" command is not executed (kstars considers the .ser frames not as Light but as calibration shots), the mount remains at its current location, and the Capture module executes the .ser capture. But this is capturing a target that is not the intended one as no slew happened.
I tried it on version 3.7.8.
The fix includes some end time fixes as well, in case you see that in the code.

Sorry, I still cannot reproduce it on the latest version. Could you please share logs and the files for scheduler and capture?
