STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open default applications 
2. Select the file associations for a file type (eg PNGs)
3. See that not every program in the list appears in the open with menu

Every program in the file associations list should appear in the open with menu when right clicking the file

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
When you add a new program in the file associatione s another seemingly random program will disappear from the open with menu.
This is my first bug report here so sorry if I made a mistake or omitted important information.

Thanks for the bug report, and the screenshot. No worries about it being blurry, it does show what you're describing.

I confirmed the behavior on git-master. The behavior looks intentional, but I understand that it's not doing what you want. I'll pass this along as a feature request to allow showing the full list of associated applications rather than a fixed number. One idea would be "show more..."

I appreciate you spent your valuable time reading my bug report and reproducing the issue I described. I hope it gets fixed soon. In the meantime are there any workarounds to make all applications show up in the open with menu?

Unfortunately, I don't know of a workaround to make everything show up. You would have to use "Open with .. -> Other application" for now.
