Set-ups like this

SUMMARY
There was a kwin addon https://github.com/murat-cileli/maximized-window-gap, it was possible to add gaps to the maximized windows. But that addon stopped working, it would be nice if KDE had an option like this by default so its easier to make set-ups like this.

I know that its possible to achieve this using meta+shift tilling or a custom tilling, but its a whole different work flow.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. There is no option to add gaps to maximized windows.

OBSERVED RESULT
There is no option to add gaps to maximized windows.

EXPECTED RESULT
There is an option to add gaps to maximized windows

I don't think this is something we plan to support as a 1st-party thing, sorry. I'd recommend reaching out to the author of that script and seeing if maybe you can help them get it working again.
