SUMMARY
WEBP images cannot be resized to more than 5 seconds

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Paste a new webp image in the timeline and try to resize to more than 5 seconds

OBSERVED RESULT

It does not work, the maximum for webp images is 5 seconds


EXPECTED RESULT

To resize to more than 5 seconds just like other image formats allow

Thanks for your report. I cannot reproduce the problem. Are you using the official Ubuntu package ? 
This is not reproducible for example in our AppImage, you can test by downloading it :
https://kdenlive.org/download

So it is probably an upstream packaging issue

For example a missing package like kimageformat-plugins ? Can you check if it is installed on your system ?

Great, it was missing. Fixed after install kimageformat-plugins

Shouldn't this be installed by default along with kdenlive? I installed it via flatpak
