Can reproduce. Kickoff is affected, too. Can you confirm that this actually applies to Application Menu/kicker? If so, is it from the Power / Session menu entry, or from a sidebar favorite lock icon, or from something else (maybe some context menu somewhere)? Everything in kicker should already close when clicked, but I may have missed some condition. In Application Launcher/kickoff, I can reproduce it and have a fix, but not in Application Menu/kicker. A possibly relevant merge request was started @ https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/merge_requests/3356 Git commit 04c747a41d8c01248c7baeec5c852c2298f76fc3 by Christoph Wolk. Committed on 02/12/2025 at 16:50. Pushed by cwo into branch 'master'. applets/kickoff: also close when triggering from footer menu Kickoff already closes when one of the power/session buttons from the menu is pressed, but the same does not happen if the same action is shown in the overflow menu. Instead, also close kickoff in that case. Why was this marked as "Needs Info"? Marked as "Resolved > Fixed". (In reply to Fernando M. Muniz from comment #6) > Why was this marked as "Needs Info"? Marked as "Resolved > Fixed". It was marked as NEEDSINFO because you filed it for Application Menu (also known as kicker), and Nate confirmed that it also happens in Application Launcher (also known as kickoff). I fixed it in Application Launcher, but could not reproduce it in Application Menu. That's why I asked in comment #2 whether this report actually applied to Application Menu, or if you filed it under the wrong component. You did not respond, so I didn't have the fix for Application Launcher automatically close this report for Application Menu. I see. I probably filed the bug in the wrong component. |
