this should be fixed in the next patch point release coming next month.
the patch was added for 25.08 a few days after the tagging, so it will be included with 25.08.01

for the record, the fix is commit  a32a5fea481930f3af6a58492396ef3680190883 in project kdepim-runtime

you may want to contact your distros to apply this patch now, rather than having to wait for 25.08.01

FYI:  I emailed the distributions today and asked them to apply the patch to fix this one.
rather than having everyone wait until 25.08.1 is released next month
