Can't zoom in far enough on icons in Dolphin

SUMMARY

When zooming in on icons in Dolphin, I quickly hit a cap and I can't zoom in further. I would really like to be able to zoom in further.

It feels like a bug that I can't zoom in as much as I want on my icons. I would really like to make my icons slightly bigger when looking at images, but the max zoom level isn't enough.

It can go really small, but it can't go really big.

Look at attached screenshot showing it at max zoom level.

If I could just zoom in a little bit further, then it would be perfect.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Just zoom in to the max using ctrl+scroll wheel

I note from your other reports that you're using 50% scaling. This is partly a limitation of that, and partly a limitation of Dolphin.
I'll pass this along as a feature request to the Dolphin developers to consider supporting higher preview / zoom

After speaking with Nate, I'm afraid we'll have to close the bugs related to 50% display scaling.

That's unfortunate ☹️

Why even have a 50% scale option if it's not intended to use it?
