When I insert an image for example, the clip is 5 seconds, which makes it too small.

I have to zoom in to be able to resize it with the handles using my mouse.

It should be something like 30 seconds.

In the Kdenlive Settings > Misc, you can adjust the default duration for images, color clips, titles, etc.

Yes sorry I realized this later on. Still maybe the bug report could work as a reminder to increase the defaults perhaps.
