apk and aab side-by-side
Right now, Breeze uses color to differentiate between file formats. I haven't figured out what color goes with what, but under Ocean icons, we would have letters in the icon to show what type of file it is. Would you like to wait for Ocean icons or would you like to have a Breeze icon that is a colored archive? I don't know Ocean icons. This is just a feature request for Breeze Icons. My suggestion would be to just use the same icon for .aab. Created attachment 187973 [details]
AAB File
How about something like this? I kept the green for Android.
I think it is fine, but I also think something that shows the Android like the APK icon does would be better because *.aab is definitely an Android format. As AAB is solely(?) used for the google play console and the same has a blue icon ( https://www.gstatic.com/acx/play/console//brt/play_console_ui_20251216_0040_RC04/main/play.console.ui.common.images/logos/navigation_menu.svg ), an idea would be to just use the APK icon but in blue. By the way, all of APK, AAB and JAR are ZIPs with a different file ending (and a certain expected file structure inside the archive ). The package format is still ZIP, though. |
