STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on a folder so that it becomes selected (blue outline, filled background)
2. Right click on it and choose "New Folder" or "New File"

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens

It works with the context menu, when the folder is only selected such as it only has the blue outline and a non-filled background.

EXPECTED RESULT
A dialog opens to enter the file name.

This apparently only works in the details view!
For that I hold shift and click again on the folder to "half-select" it and then right click, where a _different_ context menu opens.

"Create New" File / Folder only works for the right click context menu, when clicking into empty space, not with the context menu of a selected file.

Should be fixed, but you need to wait for the new version to be released
