STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Dolphin
2. Choose Details View
3. Hold Shift
4. Click on files to select them one after another by clicking on the Name or File Size column
5. and on the Changed column

OBSERVED RESULT
4. Selects just fine
5. Selects produces an non-filled rectangle and does not select the file. 

EXPECTED RESULT
4 and 5 work on the same way.

It's a random hit- or miss for me.

Tested it with a freshly set up Tumbleweed and Dolphin 25.08.1, the issue persists.

Maybe something you would like to look into. :-) I could reproduce it on two different systems now.
