That code was never designed to scale. Sorry. The best you can do is enable video mode switching in the configuration dialog, or you can try the Xv driver in "qtvision", aka kwintv3 from the KDE CVS repository in the kdenonbeta module. I have the same problem. Other programs like MoTV or Zapping support a real
"full" screen mode.
