SUMMARY
Default file location for login screen when loading image defaults to documents and no way to change default location.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Open login screen.
2. Click change background.
3.  Load from file.

OBSERVED RESULT
Opens to Document folder

EXPECTED RESULT
Opens to Pictures or can be set to custom folder where background images are stored.

Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 42

This seems worth considering, but it may be deferred to plasma-login-manager, which is going to replace the SDDM login screen in the not distant future. I'll let the developers make that call.

Offering a setting to change the default isn't what we'd do here; nothing else does that. Instead, we could have it remember the last-used location. That seems reasonable.
