Notice that in the listview he Name is not quoted, but in the fancy header it
is.
This bug is imap related and still exists in current CVS Kmail. You can test it very easy, configure your identity to use this Name: Thomas "justme" Reitelbach and send some testmails to yourself. Fetch new mail and have a look at them. in the message-list i see this as sender when the email is _not_ selected: Thomas justme Reitelbach and when i select the message it looks like this: Thomas "justme" Reitelbach The header in the preview pane show this sender (i'm using fancy headers): "Thomas \"justme\" Reitelbach" <tr@erdfunkstelle.de> So now we have three different interpretations :-) I have tested this with Cyrus Imap _and_ with Novell Groupwise Imap server, both showing the same bug. When using POP3 (on the same servers) everything works like expected. Bye, Thomas |
