This is intentional unfortunately, if we enabled it then you would not want to use it. There's a Qt problem (the toolkit we use) where dragging with the scrollbar is hilariously bad, with lots of glitching and it just moving around on it's own. So it's going to have to stay disabled until they feel like that's a problem worth solving. Is it not possible to reuse the same kind of scrollbar as on the Following tab? No, and the reason why the Following tab works okay is because it's a known-length, fixed-size list unlike posts which come in different sizes and usually infinite-scrolling.
