In this case they're one and the same; when you enter full screen, it automatically turns on Do Not Disturb mode. So yeah, it was in fact due to being in DND mode. :) If you don't know that, this might be a bit weird at first. But I think it's an easy enough pattern to figure out. If you go into the Notifications settings page, you'll see a reference to the feature there. Can I make a wishlist for adding a "While in fullscreen, Do Not Disturb is active." or similar to the notification? Maybe not that exact wording, but it might make sense to adjust the notification. Would yo like to have a go at it? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) > Maybe not that exact wording, but it might make sense to adjust the > notification. > > Would yo like to have a go at it? Would the inverse work? "Do Not Disturb is active while in full screen." We can play with it to see what works best. Are you interested in submitting a merge request to change it? It's a great first patch. String changes are small and easy. String changes are small and easy. I have zero idea how to do that, and this version has to be dependant on full screen being active, so it would need a bit of actual code to differentiate the two. |
