Hi, I don't have Telegram so cannot follow up on the discussion you are referring to. I assume the steps to reproduce this message are: Create project A with FPS set to X, insert some clip and select and copy it. Then create another project B with FPS set to Y and paste. > I am not asking about the essence of this error, but I am pointing out that the term "source project" is mentioned only in the program itself. And even in the program it is appears only in a reeeally rare error. Nowhere else. Let's replace it in the program, or edit the official manual to bring into compliance, uniformity. This bug report is incomplete. You described your observation but not what you would expect instead. What should it be replaced with, how should the manual be edited? When copy/pasting some items from one project to another the name is not copied AFAIK so it needs to be some generic term. So maybe that's better, maybe not: "The source project has a different framerate than your current project." -> "The project you're copying from has a different framerate than your current project." > Why are you doing this if you secretly hate and despise those around you? As mentioned, I did not read the Telegram discussion but assuming that someone hates and despises you because of a comment about the wording of a specific error message sounds a bit unlikely... >>"The project you're copying from has a different framerate than your current project."
Thank you for helping me figure it out and understanding what I'm trying to convey! ๐ Professional work! ๐ฅฐ
The thing is that I got this error while copying-pasting a clip within one project. There was no other, just a single project, and that's why the word "source" confused me. And I couldn't find anywhere what "kdenlive source project" means.
I can't reproduce the behavior with error appears when copying-pasting a clip now. No error warning message occurs. Moreover, the initial project parameters contained the fps=20. The fps value of the clip is 60. Don't know why the program reported about 25 fps, but I didn't attach any importance to it
I made several copies of the same clip on one track. Within a single project.
Thank you for your help! As soon as there is more information about this situation - I will return to this topic
