Currently, only NVIDIA CUDA is supported. You have an NVIDIA graphics card? There may be a speed advantage with OpenCL, but probably not in the way you're imagining. Maik *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 506535 *** Yes, I have a NVIDIA RTX3060 with 12GB VRAM. During face scanning I see CPU usage > 94% and GPU ~1% A have any possible drivers installed because I use AI models for other projects. So what do I miss? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 506535 *** I'm sorry to reopen this. It was marked as duplicate, but I see different a case here. In preferences => Miscellaneous => System => Test GPU AI compatibility, I get: Test completed successfully! Your system can use GPU acceleration for the AI models. Also in Help=> components Information => OpenCV Configuration, I get positive results. It also recognises my GPU. It looks like this is not happening in the other issue that it was marked as duplicate. Still the GPU is not used in Face Scanning. Thanks. > Still the GPU is not used in Face Scanning.
How did you figure that out?
During face scanning I see CPU usage > 94% and GPU ~1% For a 16/32 cores CPU. For a lot of hours. |
