Your screenshot doesn't show a suggestion or face being deleted. The button ignores the face, so the face appears under ignored faces. This works without issues here, and the face doesn't appear again under unknown faces. I have found the problem: The tags "Ignored" and "unconfirmed" were not marked as face tags. So when I clicked on ignored the images were not marked as ignored. Then I clicked on "mark as face tag" for the tags "Ignored" and "unconfirmed". Now it works fine! So maybe this was not really a bug. But i never removed the marker "face tag" for the two tags. So this is maybe also a problem for other people. And I would expect that the program creates the "ignored" face tag, then needed or at least gives me a warning, that the tag is not existing. Created attachment 182828 [details] Screenshot SUMMARY If I click on the forbidden sign icon for a suggested face, it disappears from the list as expected. Then I close Digikam once and the suggested face reappears. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to unknown section in People 2. Click on the "forbidden sign icon" under a face 3. Close and reopen Digikam 4. Go to unknown section in People. -> the same face suggestion is back again. OBSERVED RESULT Not possible to delete face suggestions EXPECTED RESULT The deleted face suggestion should disappear forever SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS macOS: 15.5 Qt Version: 6 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION A view digikam versions ago this worked for me as expected. I have this problem at least since 8.6. Thank you so much!
