Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn man in den Einstellungen von digiKam einen Standard-Zoomfaktor für die Kartenansicht im Geolokalisierungs-Modul definieren könnte. So ließe sich verhindern, dass die Karte beim Öffnen zu stark hineingezoomt ist oder auf eine unpassende Zoomstufe zurückfällt. Alternativ könnte sich die Karte auch automatisch auf einen individuell definierbaren Kartenausschnitt (z. B. mit Bookmark) zentrieren – unabhängig davon, ob gerade ein Bild mit GPS-Daten ausgewählt ist.

Translation:

It would be very helpful if you could define a default zoom factor for the map view in the geolocation module in the digiKam settings. This would prevent the map from zooming in too much when opened or falling back to an inappropriate zoom level. Alternatively, the map could also automatically center itself on an individually definable map section (e.g. with bookmark) – regardless of whether an image with GPS data is currently selected.
