Can you install the firmware update manually via fwupd? It'll show if it's an issue in discover or lower in the stack. If fwupd has any errors if you could let us know that would be great. (In reply to David Edmundson from comment #2) > Can you install the firmware update manually via fwupd? It'll show if it's > an issue in discover or lower in the stack. > If fwupd has any errors if you could let us know that would be great. Hi David, Yes, I can do that if I know how to update the two packages. Can you give me the commands for the command line? Unfortunately I have never worked with fwupd before. Greetings Michael (bluelupo) I have now found the information on the net how to update the firmware on the command line via “fwupdmgr”.
I executed the following commands as root:
# fwupdmgr refresh --force
# fwupdmgr get-updates
# fwupdmgr update
Everything went through without errors, but unfortunately the packages...
“Lenovo System Firmware 0.1.82 --> 0.1.86”
“Lenovo TPM 23.69.0 --> 24.74.2560”
...are still displayed in Discover. As in my first post attached screenshot.
Here again the output of “fwupdmgr get-updates” after the update.
# fwupdmgr get-updates
