Yeah, agreed. We can remove it and just leave the central graphic. However, one reason, though we can choose otherwise, this symbol looks like this most times is because it resembles symbols in everyday life. This symbol is usually represented in real life in a container like a street sign. |
Created attachment 182778 [details] The categories list in Discover SUMMARY When viewing the list of application categories in Discover, the icon for "Accessibility" seems out of place, as it is the only one inside a circle. The circle forces the internal image of a person on a wheelchair to be smaller and therefore less clear. I think it would be better without the circle and with a bigger person and bigger wheelchair. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Run Discover 2. Look at the categories in the left-hand bar OBSERVED RESULT The icon for Accessibility is the only one in a circle (well, apart from "Application Addons" but I think that's just because no specific icon has been made for that) and the meaningful part of the icon, the person in a wheelchair, is too small. EXPECTED RESULT The icon to just be a person in a wheelchair, sized to be consistent with the other category icons.
