SUMMARY
After updating to 6.4.1 the lock screen is now broken displaying the lockscreen is now broken splash page.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login
2. Lock screen, lock screen works fine.
3. Unlock
4. open some applications.
5. Lock screen again.
6. Lock screen is now broken.  Console cannot be accessed with ctrl, alt, F1 as the page instructs, instead ctrl, alt F3 must be used.

OBSERVED RESULT
The lock screen is broken.

EXPECTED RESULT
The screen locks and is able to be unlocked as was the previous behavior.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Others have discussed the lockscreen doesn't work for them at all.  I don't know if having applications open is part of what breaks the screenlocker.
