Description Roger Júnio 2025-06-27 17:26:42 UTC
SUMMARY
KAddressBook is unable to add an address book via Google Groupware. You can actually authenticate with Google, and the names of the calendars linked to the account appear in the settings. However, after completing the entire process, KAddressBook remains empty, as if it was unable to complete the data import process, and this without any error messages.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open KAddressBook
2. Go to the "Files" tab
3. Go to the "New" option
4. Go to the "Add address book" option
5. Select the "Google Groupware" option
6. In the new configuration window, click the "Configure" button
7. When you are redirected to a browser tab, log in to your personal Google account
8. Returning to the KAddressBook configuration window, the calendars and tasks linked to the account will be listed (indicating that the connection was successful). Finish by pressing "OK".
9. At this stage, the program should be correctly configured and functional; however, nothing happens and no calendar or task is synchronized.
OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing. Simply nothing happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
Account data correctly synchronized with the Google account - or at least error messages indicating that there was a problem during the process.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian 12 with KDE Plasma (Wayland)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It's not Flatpak or Snap - i.e. direct installation from the repository via Discover. By the way, how could I get all the KDE programs in the latest version?
