Description muh2lintech 2025-06-26 21:00:01 UTC
SUMMARY
When the Sidebar is activated for both panels separately in horizontal mode, clicking in the sidebar affects the active panel instead of the one adjacent to the sidebar.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. assume horizontal mode
2. choose top panel
3. activate sidebar
4. choose bottom panel
5. activate sidebar
6. select top panel
7. click on an entry in the Sidebar adjacent to the bottom panel

OBSERVED RESULT
The item clicked in the bottom panel's Sidebar is reflected in the top panel, not the bottom panel, because the top panel is active. This is confusing and very inconvenient.

EXPECTED RESULT
The item clicked in the Sidebar would be reflected in the panel that is adjacent to the Sidebar, rather than being reflected in whichever panel is active.
