Description luk 2025-06-05 10:50:43 UTC
Apllication Dashboard randomly stops accepting keyboard input.
Let's say i want to open `mouse` settings, so Input mouse, but when I start to type, only `mou` is accepted (and displayed), when I press any letter later, nothing happens (it's not added~). I can use BACKSPACE to remove letters, but still I can type anything!
doesn't matter the letter (even if it's one letter 'f' like `firefox`). I have to hide dashboard (meta key) and repopen it (meta key again). and then I can type again.

(Application launcher doesn't have that problem, however if I delete all text, search field loses focus - different issue)

kubuntu 25.04, plasma 6.3.5

This happens EVERY time (not occasionally), and the only place I see it is "application dashboard"

correction, It doesn't happen now, the only thing I did it is to put notebook to sleep for a moment (i closed the lid)

This is fixed in Plasma 6.4
