SUMMARY

Mac version 8.6.0 will not load under Mac OS Sequoia 15.5. Seems like a signing problem - double clicking on digikam.app results in the error message - 'The application "Finder" does not have permission to open 'null''

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Double click on digikam.app / showfoto.app

OBSERVED RESULT
1. App fails to run
2. Error message 'The application "Finder" does not have permission to open 'null''

EXPECTED RESULT
App runs

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
digikam 8.6.0
macOS: 15.5

Hi,

This problem have been fixed in next 8.7.0 release.

Version for Intel Mac (dated 2025-04-14 06:47) still has the same problem.

Now loads correctly but running DLNA server causes immediate crash. Will log another bug report
