Same with a different secondary language. I have 3 languages enabled for the system. The system default (1st of the 3) and KDE Connect are set to English, but the KDE Connect notification and some of its menus still use the 2nd of the system languages. If I swap the 2nd and 3rd languages and restart KDE Connect, it switches to the new 2nd language (neither is Spanish in my case). KDE Connect 1.33.4 Android 15 I think it may have been a android bug because it isn't an issue for me any more. Plus at one point i saw the same thing happen with other apps. Created attachment 181958 [details] screen shot of a notification STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install KDE Connect on an Android 15 device. 2. Set the system language to English. 3. Set KDE Connect's per-app language setting to English (confirmed via system settings). 4. Use the app and observe the language used in the UI and notifications. OBSERVED RESULT Certain options and notifications are displayed in Spanish instead of English. EXPECTED RESULT All UI elements and notifications should be in English when the app and system language are both set to English. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: N/A macOS: N/A Linux/KDE Plasma: N/A KDE Connect version: 1.33.4 Android Version: 15 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This issue persists across restarts and updates. The system language is set to English (United States), and KDE Connect's app-specific language is also explicitly set to English. No other apps exhibit this issue. This may indicate a localization fallback issue in the Android version of KDE Connect.
