I have posted about it at https://discuss.kde.org and there is other who agrees with me. So I'm posting it here.

SUMMARY
“Do Not Save” and “Cancel” work the same when change project setting after project changed. Both of them results the “Project profile change aborted”.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

Create a new Untitled project.
Edit it. May put a picture or video to project bin.
Change the project setting. May change the default 1080p to 720p.
Click “Continue” at “Confirm profile change”.
Click “Do Not Save” or “Cancel” at “Warning”.
OBSERVED RESULT
Both choice at Step.5 results the “Project profile change aborted”.

EXPECTED RESULT
I think that the “Do Not Save” option should change project setting to the new one without save the project with old setting.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows 11. Kdenlive 25.04.1.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I found this unexpected result in an older version, and I guess it fixed in the latest version 25.04.1 if it is actually a bug. The unexpected result still exists after I update to latest version.
