SUMMARY
Wrench menu unresponsive while loading process list.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click to switch to Processes tab
2. Click on wrench to open menu.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens for ~1 second, then the menu appears.

EXPECTED RESULT
The menu should appears immediately.

What is the wrench menu? I don't see any icons using a wrench, at least not when using the default Breeze theme. Could yo perhaps attach a screen recording that shows the issue?

Thanks. I can't reproduce this issue in git master. It's possibly it's gotten fixed by some of the recent performance work.

Hi - I'm running the current development version of System Monitor and can't replicate this - could you please try with System Monitor version 6.4.0? I specifically wonder if the performance improvements mentioned here may have made a difference: https://blogs.kde.org/2025/06/07/this-week-in-plasma-plasma-6.4-is-nigh/#plasma-640-2

Works better in 6.4.1: The button is clickable while process list is loading.
