Hi,

I think it would be nice, while annotating a screenshot (for example with the highlighter tool), to have a way to highlight text precisely, instead of getting the wobbly-mess that will come out by just doing your best to move the mouse horizontally.

Holding Shift already makes lines/arrows straight at 45 degrees increments, what I'm talking about is specifically the highlighter tool, which is currently lacking this, and would benefit a lot from it since highlighting some horizontal (or vertical) text is, I suppose, one of the most frequent use cases for this tool.

Thanks!

This is in fact already implemented in Plasma 6.4! I''ve been using it and it's really nice.
