What prompted you to try to use the calendar widget to view dates 3,600 years in the future, if you don't mind my asking? And how long did it take you to get there? I tried reproducing this but got bored of scrolling after about 30 seconds and I hadn't even gotten to 2500 yet.

I was bored, about 5-6 minutes

Use the years tab and then scroll

I have now spent 5 minutes of my life scrolling to May 5646. No freeze on git master, so it looks like this has been fixed, perhaps with some of the changes made to the calendar widget for Plasma 6.4.
