It's probably more an issue on the explanation of the feature, as "technically" copying a file is text (the thing that ends up in the clipboard is the path name) Whet that options does (and does work for it) is when you copy for instance a selection in an image on a graphic application such as Gimp or Krita mmh seems like it. i just testen this on a fresh kubuntu stable that is sitll running plasma 5 and the behaviour is the same. At the very least the setting should be renamed to better describe what "non-text" and "text" selections include. ' And i guess the wanted behaviour of no files at all showing up in the history is a feature request then *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 348932 *** |
